Well we finally finished Gears of War a while ago. The reason I say "we" is because I was playing with my brother-in-law in coop split screen mode. Now I know thats not the best way to experience Gears for the first time but boy it sure was fun. I know I have missed out on all the graphical goodness of the game since playing it split screen is like playing a game looking through a letterbox opening. You really cant see much other than what you need to and you cant really appreciate the scenery around you. It has taken us this long to finish it because this is like only the third night we have played.... which brings me to a major gripe I have with Gears... its just WAY too short. But now that I've been through it in coop mode I am starting again alone and at the next difficulty level up. Cant wait to see the fullscreen version of the game :-)

Finally finished Gears of War!
